After giving it some thought, I’ve decided to let my old domain name (alethesministry.com) expire.
Then, I thought about what I was going to do with my blog. I have been awful about not posting things, so I considered giving it up altogether.
But then I thought about it, and I asked myself this question…”If I stop blogging, will people be crushed by this turn of events? Will their lives lose their meaning when they cease to be sporadically filled with random things that they almost certainly could never live without?” As I pondered these questions, I came to a startling realization: People need my blog.
Some of you may think that this is just another example of me being too self-important for my own good, but to that I say “Nonsense.”
I decided that since Blogspot still has the same issues that it had when I bought my own domain name the first time, I couldn’t go back, and besides, that was the site of my failure to keep my blog going strong. I decided that I must move on and start over anew, thus the new WordPress address. The fact that there is a free application to post to WordPress from my iPhone didn’t hurt either…
So fear not, faithful readers, my blog is alive and well!
*Pauses to bask in the cheers of the 5 people who read my rambling nonsense*
Check back here often, because I’m going to be more regular about this. I need to write more, and this will be a helpful way to do that. I might just start poking around to figure a way to merge some of my older posts from Blogspot over here (Lest we forget the “Jesus, flush my toilet” story, right?). I know you guys missed me terribly!
It’s good to be back.
I’m new here lol
I missed you and I am glad to see you have returned!
